ALL WORK MUST BE WIRED AND READY TO HANG.

Please ensure your artwork is 2″ from the top of the canvas to the wire as shown in the image below.

This a juried exhibition. Jury results will be emailed to artists by November 1, 2026.
 
Local artists (Vancouver Island and Coastal Gulf Islands) art work drop off at  
ARTWRX Studio Gallery (362C 10th Street Courtenay)
November 5 – 7, 2026,  from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm 
Artists not residing on Vancouver/ Coastal Gulf Islands are featured in the online show only.

All  accepted artwork will be available for viewing online November 9th, 2026
 
All sales are online starting at 6 pm PST Friday, November 13, 2026
 
An in person exhibition will be held at ARTWRX Studio Gallery (362C 10th Street Courtenay) 
Friday November 13th GALA OPENING from 6 – 9pm
Saturday -Sunday November 14 – 15th from 10am – 4 pm
ONLINE Show continues to 6pm PST November 29, 2026
 
All Square Foot works are for sale for $350 each with $275 to the artist.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    •  All artwork must be 12″ x 12″ x 1.5″ to 3″ deep,  (gallery wrap – no exceptions) 
    • Artwork may be any medium and technique.
    • No photography submissions.
    • Artwork must be ready to hang (see diagram.)
    • Unframed artwork only.
    • Make sure the photos of your square foot works are cropped and good resolution.
    • Rename your images before uploading this way:

                 artistname_titleofpiece_medium_surface.jpeg  

               For example: SharonLalonde_RisingTide_acrylic_woodpanel

    • .jpg or .jpeg only (no .pdf or .png files)
    • Submission requirments – minimum 3 pieces, maximum 10 pieces
    • Upload deadline is midnight (PST) October 23, 2026 (one image per submitted piece only)
    • Jury results will be emailed to artists by November 1, 2026.
    • All artwork is for sale at $350 with $275 to the artist.
    • This is a juried artshow. Images that are submitted without being cropped and properly named will not be juried for the show. Please contact us if you require assistance.

    MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    All artwork MUST be the original creation of the artist. No prints, giclee, photography or digital reproductions please. Respect cultural misappropriation guidelines.

    All monies owing to the artist for Square Foot paintings sales are paid via e-transfer. Please provide the email you use for this.
