Hi there and thank you for your interest in participating in ARTWRX Square Foot Show 2026.

Please read the Submission Requirements carefully:

    •  All artwork must be 12″ x 12″ x 1.5″ deep  (no exceptions) 
    • Canvas or wood panel
    • Artwork may be any medium and technique, excluding photography.
    • Artwork must be ready to hang (see diagram below.)
    • Unframed artwork only.
    • Make sure the photos of your square foot works are cropped and good resolution.
    • Rename your images before uploading this way:

                 artistname_titleofpiece_medium_surface.jpeg  

                For example: sharonlalonde_risingtide_acrylic_woodpanel    

    • .jpg or .jpeg only (no .pdf, .tiff or .png files)
    •  One time submission fee is $40 to submit 3 – 10 paintings. There is no hanging fee. You will be emailed a link to the upload form once submission fee is received.
    • Submit 3 – 10 paintings before October 23rd, 2026 deadline. Submit one cropped, good resolution image per painting.
    • This is a juried art show. Images that are submitted without being cropped or have poor image quality or are not properly named will not be juried for the show. We will contact you if there are issues with your images. Please contact us if you require assistance.

    MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    All artwork MUST be the original creation of the artist. No giclee prints, photography or reproductions please. Please respect cultural misappropriation guideleines.

     

    SUBMISSION FEE Square Foot Show 2026

    Artists who have paid the submission fee will be emailed a link to submit your artwork.

    Upload your images by midnight on October 23th, 2026  

    This is a one time fee for submitting  3 – 10 paintings to the show. There is no hanging fee.

     ARTWRX STUDIO GALLERY Square Foot Show 2026

    This a juried exhibition. Jury results will be emailed to artists by end of day November 1, 2026. 
     
    Art work drop off for Vancouver Island and Coastal Gulf Island artists whose work has been successfully juried into the show. .
    November 5 – 7,  from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
    ARTWRX Studio Gallery – 362c 10th Street Courtenay
    No Canada Post mail or courier delivery of art work.
    Artists not residing on Vancouver/ Coastal Gulf Islands are featured in the online show only.
     
    All  accepted artwork will be available for viewing online from November 9th, 2026
     
    All sales will be online starting at 6 pm PST
    Friday, November 13, 2026
     
    An in person exhibition will be held at ARTWRX Studio Gallery 
    Friday November 13 GALA OPENING from 6 – 9pm
    Saturday – Sunday November 14 – 15 from 10am – 4 pm
    ONLINE Show continues to 6pm PST November 28, 2026
     
    All Square Foot works are for sale at $350 each with $275 to the artist.

    IMPORTANT HANGING INSTRUCTIONS

    ALL WORK MUST BE WIRED AND READY TO HANG.

    Please ensure your artwork hanging wire is 2″ from the top of the canvas to the wire as shown in the image below.
